One of our visions at the Alumni Association is to help encourage development of faculty & staff at Powell High School.
The Alumni Association is always looking for ways to help Powell High School expand it’s technology resources.
With insights from Dr. Smith we strive to help financially with improving Powell High School facilities.
The exclusive donor club was created in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Powell High School Alumni Association’s founding. This multi-level monthly giving society offers options to fit any budget. Join now and invite other alumni to help us make impacts for future generations of Powell High School. All donors will be acknowledged at our annual gala, but always have the option to have their donation listed as Anonymous if they wish to remain so.
As a special thank you, each society member will be presented a special gift at our 100th year Gala.
The first high school in Powell was established in 1874 and was called Perkins High School. In 1916, it was renamed for Columbus Powell, the prominent person for whom the Powell Railroad Depot had been named earlier. The current school was established in 1948. Its most recent renovation was completed in 1985.
Alumni Association Scholarship Fund
One of the biggest goals of the Alumni Association is our Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are awarded to those designated by the board of the Alumni Association as those deserving through academic achievements, community service, and other accolades.
Since 1964 the Powell High School Alumni Association has awarded over $125,000 in scholarship funding!
